John East, CBE
Chairman
John East became Chairman of ValueLink in 1995. He has great depth and variety of experience
and is Chairman or Non Executive Director of several companies including Past Forward Limited,
Heritage Limited, Tourism for All Holidays Limited and the Continuum Group Limited. Previous
directorships include Strategy International Limited, Jigsaw Day Nurseries Limited, JPI Group
Limited and PFM Limited. Between 1985 and 1995 John was Chief Executive of the English Tourist
Board.
Stephen Choate
Chief Executive
Stephen Choate joined ValueLink in 1997 as Chief Executive. He is responsible for the
strategic development of the company. During this time ValueLink has enjoyed consistent and
considerable growth in revenues and profitability. Previous career - 1995 to 1997 Managing
Director, JPI Group, prior to this he spent seven years with NatWest Investment Bank, latterly
with NatWest Ventures, and before that as operational auditor in its securities and fund
management businesses. Stephen has a PhD in Development Economics, is a Chartered Accountant
and a Member of the Securities Institute.
Trevor Beach
Operations Director
Trevor Beach joined ValueLink in 1995 as Pricing Manager. He was appointed Operations Director in
2000. Trevor has overall responsibility for the collection and processing of data, the development
and support of IT and operational systems and for the client administration team. Under his
management ValueLink have developed systems and procedures and built an operations team that enables
us to deliver a first class service. Previous career - 1987 to 1995 responsible for international
corporate actions at Kleinwort Benson, in 1983 he started his career in financial services with NPI.
